Delete your account

You can delete your TryRims account and its data yourself, from inside the app, at any time. This page explains how, exactly what is removed, and the small amount we are required to keep.

Delete it in the app

This is the fastest route — it takes effect immediately, with no waiting on us:

Open TryRims.
Tap your profile (the avatar in the top corner).
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
Confirm when asked. The account, your photos and your renders are gone as soon as you do.

If you have never signed in with Apple or Google, you still have an account. It is a random anonymous id on our servers, holding your photos, your renders and your balance. It is not storage that lives only on your phone. But nothing links that id to you, so once you reinstall the app or change phone, neither you nor we can reach it again.

Deleting an anonymous account from inside the app is not available yet. Email theolh@gmail.com and we will delete it if you can identify the account. Signing in with Apple or Google is what makes it recoverable — and deletable.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your TryRims account does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple and by Google, not by us, and only they can stop the charges. Cancel there before you delete, or you will keep being billed for an account that no longer exists.

What gets deleted

Your sign-in. The account itself is removed, and the Apple or Google identity behind it is released — nobody can sign back into it.
Your personal details. Email address, name and profile photo.
Your images. Every car photo and rim photo you uploaded, every render we produced from them, and the thumbnails generated for them.
Your saved cars and wheels, and your likes on past results.
Any unused credits are forfeited. They are not refundable and cannot be moved to another account, so spend them first if you want them.

This cannot be undone. If you sign up again later it is a new account, starting empty.

What we keep, and why

Purchase records — which product was bought, when, for how much, and the store's order number. Apple, Google and tax law all require a seller to retain these; they stay for as long as the law asks and are no longer attached to an account anyone can use.
A note that the account's starting credits were already claimed. Without it, deleting and re-registering would hand out the starting credits again and again. It holds no email, no name and no photos.
